During this time, she would send images to Todd Meyers—small dispatches with no instructions or descriptions, which he would respond to in writing. What emerged was a conversation in text and image about contact and the imaginative labor of inhabiting another’s landscape; a narrative of being-there and not being there, bound up with the textures and fantasies of place. In image and free verse, their book travels across physical and phantastical spaces, widening the horizon of the extra-terrestrial.
