Malaysian Yellow Mangrove Leaves

20pcs per pack These leaves, originating from the Yellow Mangrove trees in Malaysia are an extremely unique addition to your aquarium. It's one of the prettier botanicals we offer. These leaves will tint the water with a subtle amber-brown hue. If left to decompose in the aquarium, they foster a unique closed-loop ecosystem by engaging fungi and bacteria. Even though these leaves are sourced from a pesticide-free and uncontaminated area, it is advisable to prep them before adding them to your aquarium. Similar to our other leaf offerings, we recommend rinsing and/or steeping them in boiling water before use as a standard practice.
