
McIntosh MI-2 Tube Maximum Performance Indicator Oscilloscope - Rare
General:The McIntosh MI-2 is a unique vintage oscilloscope designed to measure multipath distortion from stereo tuners. Using the front controls you can also set the scope mode to L+R audio where the oscilloscope then reacts to incoming signals. This looks awesome at night! One of the coolest pieces of 1960's McIntosh equipment, and a perfect addition to any vintage system containing a tuner. Or if you want a super cool light show, it can connect to any system with a a tape or output. As a plus, this particular unit has a new old stock CRT installed for optimal quality. Also included is the rare and original MI-2 owners manual. Just over 1,029 of these were ever made with very few surviving and still working today.SkyFi Cosmetic Notes:The lower portion of the glass has a small line consisting of very small bubbles. The remainder of the glass has signs of very light wear due to age. Misc. cosmetic blemishes are present on the metal chassis parts. Jacks are tarnished but still function
