Use cooling mode (blue light) or heat mode (red light) with fan control. When switching to heat mode, the unit handles timing delays automatically: 16-second pause → reversing valve opens 16-second delay → compressor restarts in heat mode If heat mode is engaged on power-up, a fast red flash appears.
