The Dynastar M –Pro 99 skis fall right in the one ski quiver category, equally at home in all conditions and all terrain at your favorite mountain east or west. With a 99-milimeter waist, most experts agree that the mid to upper 90s waist length is ideal for a daily driver ski. The versatility and well-roundedness of these skis really stands out, allowing the skier to make a large variety of turn shapes. Dynastar’s Hybrid core is responsible for most of the success of the ski, and it all starts with a poplar wood core that runs the central chord of the ski. On the sides, they use a Polyurethane (PU) material that is a lot like the plastic found in high end ski boots. This PU runs the edges of the skis, but it’s the amount that really makes the difference here. The greater amount of PU used, the more damp the ski becomes.
