The Italian boot manufacturer Scarpa has always been one of the industry leaders in making lightweight touring boots since the very beginning of ski touring. The original Scarpa Maestrale XT AT Ski Boot could be seen on skin tracks throughout the world for years, and now Scarpa has overhauled the boot to make it its best version to date. The Maestrale XT is a very light touring boot that walks and tours well but is stiff enough with a 130 flex, to drive big skis and charge hard on the steepest lines. For uphill performance, the Maestrale XT has a wide range of motion and is light weight tipping the scales at 3 pounds 6.5 ounces. It comes equipped with a lightweight, Intuition heat moldable liner for a premium fit and optimal power transmission. In the rear, a ski/walk mode lever with a flip of a switch enables you to climb with aplomb, then switch it in to downhill mode and instantly lock the boot down to get ready to shred. It has three possible forward lean options, which is ad
