All earring posts/huggies/hooks/hoops are made with nickel-free metals, so they are safe for sensitive ears, and lever-backs are made with silver plated metal. These make a GREAT gift for friends and family or for you - treat yoself! For general cleaning/upkeep, ensure you avoid getting makeup/hair products on your earrings; it's advisable to remove your jewelry before showering/swimming/other water activities. Should you need to clean your earrings, a gentle microfiber cloth works wonders on acrylic, clay and resin, feel free to also use light soapy water should you need more
