Sistah Scifi Authors List Facemask

Like half of the internet, we were inspired by the quintessential Name List shirt. Designed by a Experimental Jetset  from the Netherlands for a Japanese firm, the shirt became an international hit. Expermental Jetset's idea was to strip down the idea of a rock band to a list of four names, in an attempt to reach the 'essence' of a group. With the Sistah Scifi Author List facemask, we wanted to celebrate Black female writers who create a future where all of us are included. We wanted to celebrate ourselves as readers would instantly recognize the names on the list and what they mean. We also wanted to celebrate the fact that dozens, if not hundreds, more names could be added to this mask.
