Dewar's Double Double 38 Year Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is a strictly limited-edition whisky created by six-time Master Blender of the Year Stephanie Macleod using our unique 4-stage ageing process. It is the second of four rare blended malts in our special Collector's Series celebrating Scotland's most famous whisky regions. FOUR-STAGE AGEING PROCESS WE AGE: A selection of single malt whiskies from Scotland's Highland and Island regions are individually aged for at least 38 years. WE AGE AGAIN: The individual malts are then blended together and then aged for an additional month in the same casks they were originally filled in. WE AGE TOGETHER: The 38 Year Old blend is then further blended with specially reserved casks of Double Double 37 Year Old which has been aged on to become a 38 year old whisky. WE FINISH IN ROYAL BRACKLA CASKS: The blended malt whisky is filled into Pedro Ximenez sherry casks that previously held ROYAL BRACKLA® Single Malt Scotch Whisky. It is then
