The bouquet opens with aromas of crushed black pepper, raspberry and red currant. The mouthfeel is rich and oily, medium viscosity with soft chewy tannins and bright palate cleansing acidity. The palate reveals red fruit, bing cherry, raspberry and a touch of black pepper. With a little time it opens to slightly darker fruit, oil cured olives and spices.
