8 Week Sculpture I: Foundations of Ceramic Sculpture Starts August 20th

Explore the sculptural potential of clay in this 8-week course focused on three-dimensional design. Students will work on 1-2 projects, allowing for a deeper exploration of form, texture, and composition. Instruction will cover additive and subtractive sculpting techniques, surface detailing, and structural integrity. This class encourages experimentation and is ideal for those looking to push beyond functional ceramics. Requires completion of Hand-Building Pottery I & II or notable previous experience with pottery. Classes are kept small to allow each student to receive individual attention. Each class is 2 hours long. This is a short intensive so it is imperative that attend all classes.
