Klaus Peter and Julia Keller’s son Felix crafts this remarkable "field blend" of Pinot blanc, Chardonnay and old Silvaner parcels. The cuvée name is a derivative of "shelly lime" in reference to the grapes grown from limestone soil, inlaid with fossilized shells, in the Hügelland, near the villages of Dalsheim and Westhofen. This unfolds as a rich, luxurious texture on the palate with bright citrus tones throughout.
