The wood letters are 1/4” thick and painted to the color of your choice. The sides of the letters will not be painted and will be dark. The letters are attached to 1/2” birch plywood. **The height will vary depending on name and font picked. The sign is measured from the very left side of the sign to the very right side, names with a lot of letters will not be as tall as names with only a few letters.
