Beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X
Description Specs Shipping Beyerdynamic's DT Pro series of headphones really need no introduction. They're well-known as the industry standard for studio, monitoring, and video production. But what about listening on the go? Beyerdynamic used to have a great product to meet this need—the DT 1350—but they discontinued it some time ago (I've pleaded with them to bring it back, but I'm just one guy). In the meantime, meet the X series: Beyerdynamic preserves the basic design of the Pro series headphones, but introduces a new "Stellar 45" driver, with an impedance of 48 ohms. That means you'll get great tone even plugged into a phone or iPad or laptop. Since I've switched to a laptop for video editing, I've upgraded to these phones (DT 900 Pro X) myself, and I'm still amazed at their sound every time I put them on. The DT 700 Pro X is the closed-back version of these phones. If you're looking for open-backed, check out the DT 900 Pro X. • Wearing Style Over-ear• Operating princ
