Shopteli is proud to introduce the Shrimp Boat model, famously featured in the movie Forrest Gump. This model is a testament to the skill of master craftsmen who handcraft these highly detailed wood models from scratch, using historical photographs, drawings, and original plans. They are built to scale with high-grade wood such as western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany, using the plank-on-frame construction method, similar to the building of actual ships. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and undergoes a rigorous quality control process before leaving the workshop. This Shrimp Boat model is a remarkable piece. It's handmade from strips of teak and mahogany and painted in black and white. The hull features fishing nets on both sides, along with wooden crates. The cabin is painted white with tinted blue windows, and an anchor is prominently displayed on the deck along with other boat gear. The nets, mast, and rigging add a special touch to this model
