These soapstone animals are mined in Kisii, Kenya. Soapstone is comprised largely of talc. It is a soft rock, naturally light pink or yellowish. It is carved and dyed into beautiful handicrafts! Measures approximately 3" x 2" in size. All are hand carved and may vary in size and shape Each one has a different design and colors vary slightly as well.
