1-5/8" x 1-5/8" Steel End Rail Clamp For Chain Link Fences
An essential fitting in the construction of chain link fence panels, this end rail clamp is used to secure two pieces of fence pipe together in a T-shaped formation. It is a common installation piece for ballfield fencing, backstops, and dog kennels.Installing this clamp is simple, as it's composed of two identically shaped parts. When put together, the two halves form a stubby T-shaped joint: the shorter upper "arms" and the slightly longer vertical "arm." Enclose the upper "arms" around the center of a piece of fence pipe, and insert the end of the second pipe into the lower "arm." Securing this end rail clamp requires a carriage bolt (sold separately). Before applying the bolt, inch the second fence pipe—the one held by the longer "arm"—downward until it rests just past the square-shaped hole in the clamp's center. Insert the carriage bolt through this hole and out the other side before tightening with a nut. This secures the two pieces of the clamp together and snugly holds the two
