FRIDAY FIREWORKS

There‘s a fireworks show in Waikiki that lights up the shoreline of Honolulu every Friday.  I’ve never been out surfing late enough to catch the show from the ocean, but I always wondered what it’d be like to paddle in just in time to have a perfect view of the night sky exploding with color. I’m not brave enough to be in the ocean that late, so I created this piece to imagine what it might be like.
