This item features a gorgeous Louisiana oyster shell.I paint the inside of the shell using mother of pearl to enhance the natural brilliance of the shell, then I gild the edges of the shell with liquid gold leaf paint, I finish by sealing the entire shell with a gloss finish. The shell is then mounted to a gold clip stand. The shell measures 4 inches in length and the entire piece is 4.5 inches in height.
