It's not a grassy, herbal rye like our 95/5s this year, instead bringing big brown sugar, toffee, black pepper, ginger, a hint of barrel char and a bright pop of strong oak to the forefront instead. Rich on the palate, plenty layered with a pillowy mouthfeel and pleasant proof. Long finish that pulls together bold oak, rich rye spice, maple and a final crackle of pepper.
