Distilled: Indiana, USA (MGP / Penelope Bourbon) Aged: Indiana Bottled: Indiana (MGP / Penelope Bourbon) Age: 10 Years More Info: Single Barrel, No Coloring, No Filtering, No Additives, Barrel Strength Mashbill: 75% Corn, 21% Rye, 4% Malted Barley ABV: 52.7% ABV  Labeling: r/Bourbon Custom Labeling T8ke's Tasting Notes: Fat and oaky just like it's high(er) rye cousin, this barrel is loaded with cream, maple, cola and heavy tobacco, luxardo cherry, a hint of char and lighter on the pepper while heavier on the baking spice. The nose is enticing, it's a rich, heavy nose. The palate is rich, chewy, syrupy, packed with oak, toffee, luxardo cherry, caramelized sugars and a hint of barrel char. Long finish, there's lots of sweet pastry, heavy oak, rich cherry character and a dash of cola, char and pepper to see it out. This barrel presents more cola and cherry compared to our previous, while dialing back some baking spice that was extra evident in the first. 21% rye from MGP ages beautifully.
