Found North Batch 010

Limit 1 per person Batch 010 marks the second wheated blend that we have released. While it was shaped around an 8YR wheat component, the lynchpin of this release is a 9YR malted barley distillate aged in New American Oak, making up 5% of the blend. Similar to Batch 005, the wheat here is embedded into a rich array of old whisky—specifically, one 19yr and two 23yr corn components. The 9yr malted barley component introduces layers of rich chocolate and oily texture that make 010 distinctive and delicious. The nose promises a melody of vanilla wafer, toffee and semi-sweet chocolate, transporting you to a Sicilian cafe serving affogato over coffee gelato. hints of plum, shortbread, rock candy and a whisper of orange zest swiftly follows. It lands with a resounding cinnamon sugar note, layered upon Irish buttered toast, harkening back to Batch 005.
