Backbone Bourbon: The Proof is in the Pour Decade Down is a straight bourbon where we used a combination of our finest “honey” barrels between 5 and 7 years old. 25% of the bourbon used had been in sherry barrels for 12 months. Our first batch of Backbone Uncut (our first prod-uct) was released in December 2010 thus the reason for this special anniversary edition. We plan to do a new “Decade Down” release every year going forward.
