I bought both of mine before the ceramic ones were offered - and I would love to try one.   LOTS of our members have this iron!  One of our members that frequently zooms with us raves about her champagne colored one with the ceramic soleplate.  I'm thrilled with the two I own.  ❤️Personal Preference Tip from me:  I don't put water in the iron that I use for sewing.   When it comes to some detailed work that causes you to have your fingers close to the sole plate, you won't run the risk of getting your fingers poached by a little steam that escapes!   Also, this iron comes with a nice cover with a handle to make it easy to take to retreats, etc.   I find it much nicer to carry a dry iron to avoid any w
