How to Use as a Topper: Method One: Place Pfaff® Dissolve-A-Way Plus on top of the fabric, hoop both together, and embroider as usual. Method Two: Hoop the fabric alone, then lay the stabilizer on top. Secure it with a basting stitch before beginning your embroidery. How to Use as a Stabilizer: Hoop the Stabilizer: Hoop one to two layers of the stabilizer depending on stitch density or thread weight. Pull edges gently to tighten without stretching the film. Stitch Your Design: Proceed with embroidery as usual. Remove Excess Stabilizer: Tear away as much of the film as possible after stitching. Dissolve the Remaining Stabilizer: Soak the piece in warm water for 10 minutes, gently agitating to help the film dissolve. Rinse thoroughly in warm water. Repeat if necessary.
