Pattern Drafting Jackets

In pattern drafting jackets, you create a torso pattern block and a jacket pattern block. We will also design a lapel, lining and two piece sleeve. You will be able to add your own design flair to the style that we create. We will first perfect the torso block and then use that to create a jacket block with ease. from the jacket block we will design a jacket with a lining and 2 piece sleeve. Throughout the 6 weeks we will cover the above topics and then you will pattern draft them and sew them up out of muslin. By the end of this class you will have a torso block that you can use for shirts, jackets or dresses. A jacket block with a 2 piece sleeve and a designed jacket with with finishing details that you have pattern drafted and sewn out of muslin.  Day- Thursday Time- 6pm-9pm We will meet once a week for 6 weeks  Prerequisite is Flat Pattern Clothing Design.
