His voice was the doorway to my interest in all things macabre and it remains a sacred sound in the recesses of my memory. Because of this, I decided to create a sacred image of his likeness in the style of a religious icon. When I think of Vincent, I can’t help but think of Tim Burton who created a short film about a little boy OBSESSED with Price, so I painted him into the icon too complete with a bloody nose and a peace symbol scissor hand.
