Miami Crape Myrtle is a large upright deciduous shrub with smooth exfoliating bark and glossy green foliage that turns red with fall. Its large frilly rose pink panicles bloom on new wood in summer. Best color in full sun and rich well-drained soil. Miami has high mildew resistance.
