Penny Mac Hydrangea is a deciduous shrub that blooms on new wood, and can produce a second bloom if pruned after the first one.  It has serrated dark green leaves with no fall color.  Its large mophead clusters' bloom color depends on the soil PH -acidic soils produce blue flowers, while alkaline soils produce pink flowers.  The flowers attract butterflies.  Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.   Read about the introduction to our new Hydrangea Collection and limited time promotion here.
