Calico Japanese Maple is a dwarf deciduous tree with an upright habit and lime green palmate foliage that emerges with an attractive yellow with orange margins fades quickly while the yellow holds long into the summer before turning shades of yellow, orange, and red in fall.  Small, non-showy but attractive umbels of red flowers bloom in spring followed by samaras.
