Sacred & Immaculate Hearts Tinwork Shrine

Mixed media: reclaimed tin, resin, paper, aluminum, acrylic paint, brass, colored pencil, copper leaf, glitter, cotton lace, glass beads. Hand-cut, hammered, and shaped ornament is made with reclaimed tin framing this mini print reproduction of an antique holy card. After filing and sanding sharp corners and edges, I embellish these ornaments from my stash of vintage, antique, distressed, and/or reclaimed fabrics, metals, beads, trims, and sacramentals. This piece features rhinestones, sequins, copper leaf, distressed lace, and glass beads with an antiqued gold patina and features the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart. Tinwork body is 3". Measuring from the top of the hanger to the lowest-hanging bead, entire piece measures 6".Folks use these as altar or household art, Christmas tree ornaments, gifts, and sometimes even jewelry.
