Course Description  Semiconductor fabrication  workers are confronted with environmental, safety, and health hazards daily. Take this course to learn about what steps your employer or host site must take and what actions you can take to ensure your safety and the safety of others. This course specifically addresses ergonomics, noise, personal protective equipment (PPE), working alone, and chemical safety. Ideal learners  are semiconductor fabrication workers.  Course Objectives  Recognize common types of ergonomic injuries and risk factors and best practices that can minimize them. Identify the health effects of exposure to high levels of noise. Define the hearing conservation program, including how noise is measured and types of hearing protection. Recognize best practices for the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE). Identify risk factors and precautions for working alone.
