Our Steel Thread Insert Nuts feature slotted Steel skein for both manual or power drivers. Install into hole with same diameter as body of nut 1/16" below surface to increase strength. Use of varnish as a lubricant is suggested during insertion. Available with 1/4 - 20 or 5/16 - 18 threads. 1/2" outside diameter x 1/2" long.
