Age: 4+ years in new American Oak #3 char barrels Proof: 116.5 proof; varies by batch Tasting Notes: The nose is beautifully sweet and fruity: lots of caramel, toffee, brown sugar, but also lots of ripe and sugary red fruits as well. The palate is incredibly juicy, and beautifully creamy. Sweet vanilla, brown sugar syrup, and caramel forward - very desserty. Continuing on is a myriad of red fruits and dried fruits.    The finish is long, sweet, and clinging. rich sugars, caressing fruits, and lovely balance of toasted oak. This is a beautiful bourbon. About the product: Aged at least 4 years in new American Oak #3 char barrels, these barrels are hand picked by Seth Dettling for extended aging. These barrels tend to come from the upper portions of the rickhouse, which experience the greatest temperatures. The extreme dark color and richness of the whiskey shows the potential for bourbon aged in our climate.
