Antique 35" x 19" Tool Chest Cabinet with 3 Removable Drawers

This unusual tool cabinet has a fold-open top door that reveals 3 removable tool trays. Possibly made of cherry wood, 2 of the drawers are 6" deep and 1 drawer is 3.5" d. This vintage piece has a specific purpose, but we don't know what it was. It has lots of signs of use, and there is a crack in the back and hole in one corner (see photos.) Some hardware is loose, but included.  Dimensions: 19.25" h x 35.5" w x 7" d Second Life is a nonprofit upscale thrift store in Atlanta supporting animal rescue.
