Fire Family

Fire Family has slowly eroded over the years. The corporate vibe is increasingly more common within present day Fire Departments. The Brotherhood & Sisterhood needs to fostered and protected. There is a lot of emphasis on Public Service and rightfully so. But, we should also remember to be in service to each other. There are a many uncaptured moments where there were opportunities to help one another. Lead by example and protect your family. John Knox from Firefighters4Freedom said, " Change is not an event. It’s a marathon." Be the change you want to see in the firehouse. You don’t need bugles to be a leader. Bring back the Fire family! Be a Guardian of the Brotherhood.
