OBIDOME Japanese Obi Sash Ornament w Australian Opals

For sale is an antique Japanese kimono sash ornament, called an obidome.  This piece is beautiful and could be repurposed as a hair ornament or a brooch if desired.  It is crafted from glass in a tortoise color, and decorated with a gold-tone flower that is set with two vibrant Australian opals.  The glass has some flea-bites and shows some wear (see photos.). This is a beautiful antique ornament that can be enjoyed "as is" or repurposed.
