For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant with a triangular Australian black boulder opal.  This opal is truly exceptional.  This opal was mined in the Queensland opal fields in Australia.  This large, thick opal glistens with breath-taking purple, lavender, and fuchsia colors.  Tiny river-like veins of iridescent peacock blue run through the purple jelly opal.  The opal is translucent ("jelly") in some parts.  It sparkles with dazzling opalescent fire in the sunlight or bright indoor light. The matrix (or boulder) is deep chocolate brown and lighter tan in one corner.  The matrix is visible from the back of the pendant. The opal is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting.  The pendant has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain.
