For sale is a very large Australian boulder opal pendant in silver.  I have listed this pendant as both "jelly opal" and boulder opal because it is actually a combination of the two!  The gemstone is a large boulder that is covered in a thick layer of translucent opal.  The opal is translucent with a honey golden cast.  The opal has linear striations of different colors running vertically over the surface of the boulder.  The opal is subtle in dim light, but in sunlight or bright indoor light you can see both the glowing translucence of the opal, as well as the striations of purple, red, blue, turquoise and lime green color.   This opal is not as colorful or fire-y as some boulder opals, but its beauty lies both in its unusual large size, and in the subtle play of colorful fire over the surface of the stone.  The opal has been set in a rustic, hand-crafted silver mounting, with an enhancer bail that opens and closes.  This unusual opal can be worn as
