Quartz clusters form through a combination of hydrothermal and pegmatitic processes. Hydrothermal fluids rich in silica, often derived from magma or other geological sources, infiltrate fractures and cavities in existing rocks. As these fluids cool and the pressure decreases, silica molecules begin to crystallize and grow, forming quartz crystals. The presence of other minerals and impurities can influence the color and characteristics of the quartz.
