Druzy Sphalerite Clusters

Sphalerite, also known as zinc blende, is a mineral that forms in a variety of geological environments. It's formed through hydrothermal processes, which involve hot mineral-rich fluids circulating deep within the Earth's crust. These fluids carry dissolved elements, including zinc and sulfur. As the fluids encounter different conditions like changes in temperature, pressure, and chemical composition, sphalerite crystals begin to precipitate and grow in cavities or fractures in rocks.
