The Two-Foldness of Divine Truth

Robert Govett presents the oneness and harmony of Divine Truth as contained in the Scriptures, as a pleasing and profitable subject of contemplation.  Though proceeding from so many pens, under such varied conditions, at dates so distant, the Bible contains but one grand scheme. Yet, Govett continues, it must not be forgotten or denied, that there are continually exhibited within its pages, in bold relief, truths seemingly opposed to each other.  To trace out some of these, and set them before the reader, with the ground on which they are to be received, is the main object of this tract.
