Lang presents not only interpretations of the prophecies of Daniel, but even more the type of person Daniel was, which was how he became so useful to God. Lang also warns us not to make casual speculations as to the significance of the prophetic signs, because God often holds back the understanding until there is the need for God’s people to take action. Yet this book does make certain predictions, including the startling one that the city Babylon in Revelation does not refer to Rome but to the original Babylon to be rebuilt before the end times.
