Our 18200 pitman arm torque adapter allows users to loosen and tighten the 46mm sector shaft nut on today’s modern ¾ and 1-ton trucks which need specialty tools due to their oversized heavy-duty components. A perfect example is when servicing and or replacing the pitman arm on 2010 and later compatible with Ford, GM, Dodge/Ram trucks steering boxes. This tool is perfect when you need to accurately tighten fasteners that you cannot reach with a socket. The slim design allows it to clear the steering box housing and other obstacles without removing various sub-components such as the track arm, track arm bracket and related components. Engineered to work on both the factory pitman arms and aftermarket drop-style pitman arms that are installed on trucks with lift kits. The pitman arm torque adapter is made from forged 4140 chromoly and heat-treated for long life. The precision broached 46mm 12-point design enables the user to properly clock the tool for the desired clearance required to re
