3/8" - 1/4" Black Lava for Bonsai Soil, Succulents, Cactus & Soil Mixes - Screened 3/8"- 1/4" Black Natural Cascade Mountain Volcanic Lava rock for use in soil mixes for Bonsai, Succulents, Cactus, hydroponics and soil mixes for specialty nursery plants. Also for top dressing bonsai and terrariums.  Pleasing black color when wet. This lava is very hard.  Doesn't rot, all natural, relatively light weight. First photo shows our 3/8" - 1/4" black lava dry and the second photo shows the lava wet.  Lava is very non uniform in size. Thus all sizes are approximate. The Lava comes from the mine at 3/8 inch minus.  We then rescreen to remove Lava over ¼  inch.  All lava that does not fall through our 1/4 inch screen is considered 3/8- 1/4 inch lava.
