Artist statement: The inspiration for my work comes from my garden, nature that surrounded me growing up in rural Germany, and the beauty of my home here in the Pacific Northwest. I hope to catch the loveliness around us in my work; The sparkle of the sun light, the glitter of a creek making its way into a valley and the plants in our environments.  The stones I use are nature's precious gifts- each -one of a kind. Each piece as unique as you and me!
