Designed by Roscoe Turner and modified by Matty Laird, the LTR-14 won the Thompson Trophy races in 1938 and 1939 making Turner the only 3-time winner of the event. The Meteor was an elongated Gee Bee racer with very short, thin wings powered by biggest engine available. Mahogany Wood. Scale: 1/20. Wingspan 15 3/8 inches, Length 14 1/8 inches.
