Bell 429 helicopter model. The Bell 429 Global Ranger, a light twin-engine helicopter, was developed by Bell Helicopter in collaboration with Korea Aerospace Industries. It is an evolution of the Bell 427 design. The prototype's maiden flight occurred on February 27, 2007, and it achieved type certification on July 1, 2009.
