The Boston and Worcester Railroad was chartered June 23, 1831 and construction began in August 1832. The New York Central and Hudson River Railroad leased the B&A for 99 years from July 1, 1900. This lease passed to the New York Central Railroad in 1914; throughout this, the B&A kept its own branding in the public eye. The NYC merged into Penn Central on February 1, 1968. This is an illuminated drum head-like light box of the Boston & Albany logo. This is a PLA (Polylactic Acid) printed representation of the logo in 2 colors  (Red and White) with a drum-like back containing a wall mounting hole. The lightbox includes an IR remote to turn the light box on/off and to change the color intensity from a warm 2700K to a daylight bright 6500K. The logo is back lit with 110V LED Strip lights to illuminate the entire logo. The unit measures 9.278" diameter by 1.575" height.
