This is a light fill sketch stitch design with bean stitch finishing details. There is a version with a bow and without, making it perfect for those boys and girls. :)These sketch designs look best on white or light colored items as the fabric is meant to show through. You can use white HTV (heat transfer vinyl) underneath the stitching when stitching on dark items to make the thread colors pop against the dark fabric. You can look up tutorials online if you aren't familiar with this method. :)PLEASE NOTE: You must use fabric to complete the look of this machine applique design. I highly recommend using Heat N Bond Lite on the backs of all fabrics to keep it nice and crisp and to keep it from unraveling. Also, when trimming your fabrics for the bean stitch applique, you MUST trim a good 1/4" away from the edge of the bean stitch to keep it from unraveling.
